How It All Started

My dog Kylo was my best friend.

We did everything together. He got me outside when I didn't want to leave the house, helped me through my depression, and filled my life with joy, laughter, adventure, and unconditional love. He truly changed my life.

Then, in 2021, everything changed. Kylo became seriously ill unexpectedly and was gone before I could even fully process what was happening.

In the midst of my grief, I found myself carrying a lot of regrets. There were adventures I’d thought about taking, places I'd planned to explore with him, and memories I thought we'd have more time to make. But more than anything, I wished I had invested in professional photographs of us together.

I had thousands of snapshots on my phone, but they couldn't replace the kind of images that truly capture a relationship, a personality, and a moment in time. The kind of photographs that become priceless when all you have left are the memories.

When I welcomed my next dog, Jango, into my life, I made a promise to myself: I wasn't going to let those regrets happen again.

From day one, Jango and I have done it all. Road trips, camping, hiking, paddle boarding, swimming, campfires, meeting new friends, and chasing adventures wherever they lead us. Along the way, I've always had a camera in my hands, documenting every stage of our journey together.

What started as a determination to preserve memories became a passion. That passion grew into a calling.

For years, I've told my friends, "Take the photos." Better yet, "Get the professional photos taken of you and your pets." Because our time with them is never long enough, no matter how many years we're given.

Today, I'm honored to be the one behind the camera, helping others preserve the moments that matter most. The goofy smiles, muddy paws, quiet cuddles, wild adventures, and deep bonds that make our relationships with our pets so extraordinary.

If there's one thing Kylo taught me, it's that tomorrow is never guaranteed. The memories we create today become the treasures we hold onto tomorrow.
